The Granary Hotel and Restaurant
The Granary is a privately run hotel and restaurant, situated on the outskirts of Kidderminster, Worcestershire. The hotel offers well-appointed bedrooms, function rooms and a 2 AA Rosette award winning restaurant.
The hotel opened its newly refurbished restaurant 'The Kitchen' in January and Brintons was appointed to supply the carpet, working closely with Interior Designers Jane Clayton and Company. A stunning textured block design was developed by Brintons design team and Kelly Parfitt from Jane Clayton to complement the new contemporary colour scheme.
I am absolutely delighted with the final and very striking design. It came about through excellent liaison with Ian and Jane at Brintons who were patient and helpful with both myself and Kelly Parfitt throughout the design process. We wanted the carpet to be "architectural" and a significant part of the final look - not just a neutral backdrop and I believe we have succeeded in this. It is also good to have a story of creative cooperation between two local companies in Kidderminster.
