Westin Atlanta Gwinnett

Brintons collaborated with EoA to design and manufacture 8,000 square yards of Axminster broadloom carpet and 339 loose-lay Axminster rugs for the Westin Atlanta Gwinnett.

Located in Duluth, Georgia, the Westin is nestled within the Infinite Energy Center, a vibrant hub that includes businesses, hotels, convention centers, and music venues. This inherently dynamic setting served as a foundation for the design concept.

The EoA team drew inspiration from the energy flow of life, likening it to water rushing ceaselessly through shallow rivers. They envisioned the property as a place where the rapid pace of life converges with moments of calm, symbolized by purposeful eddies in the stream.

Brintons brought this vision to life with carpets featuring soothing greens, blues, and creams, evoking the fluidity of waves through their patterns and shapes. In the lobby, curved Axminster carpet transitions effortlessly into sleek, polished flooring, creating a seamless and sophisticated look.

The wave-inspired designs extend into the pre-function and meeting areas and are echoed in the rugs within the guestroom suites. Here, the palette evolves from tranquil blues and greens to warm amber and ivory tones, offering a refined balance that maintains harmony across the hotel’s interiors while providing distinct, inviting variations in each space.
